Dragon Fruit Margaritas

  • 1 fresh lime, cut in wedges
  • 4 tablespoons coarse salt
  • 1 (12 oz.) bag frozen pitaya dragon fruit, bite-size cubes
  • 4 fresh limes, juiced
  • 8 ounces white tequila
  • 4 ounces Cointreau or triple sec
  • 2 ounces agave or simple syrup
  • 2 cups ice
  • fresh dragon fruit, lime, or orange slices, for garnish


  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and coat in salt. Set aside.
  • In a large blender, add frozen dragon fruit, fresh lime juice, tequila, Cointreau, agave or syrup, and ice. Blend on high until mixture is smooth and pourable, about 20 seconds. Serve in each prepared glass. Garnish with fresh dragon fruit, lime, or orange slice. Enjoy!
