Frozen Pear Margaritas

  • 1 fresh lime, cut in wedges
  • 4 tablespoons salt
  • 4 fresh pears, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 2/3 cups pear nectar
  • 4 fresh limes, juiced
  • 8 ounces white tequila
  • 4 ounces Cointreau or triple sec
  • 2 ounces agave or simple syrup
  • 3 cups ice, plus more if needed
  • fresh pear, or lime slices, for garnish


  • Run a lime wedge around the rim of each glass and coat in salt. Set aside.
  • In a large blender, add pear chunks, pear nectar, fresh lime juice, tequila, Cointreau, agave or syrup, and ice. Blend on high until mixture is smooth and pourable, about 20 seconds. Serve in each prepared glass. Garnish with fresh peach slices, lime, or orange slice. Enjoy!
