Cranberry Thyme Agua Fresca Cocktail/Mocktail
Ingredients
- Cranberry Thyme Infused Water:
- 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries
- 3 cups Jovē water
- ½ cup honey
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 inch fresh ginger
- Cranberry and Thyme Mocktail/Cocktail:
- 3 ounces cranberry infused water
- 2 ounces fresh orange juice
- 1 ounce elderflower liqueur, for cocktail
- 1 ounce vodka, for cocktail
- fresh cranberries, for garnish (optional)
- star anise, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cranberry Infused Water:
- Place the cranberries, and 3 cups Jovē water in a high-powered blender. Blend on high for at least 3 minutes, or until completely smooth and the mix has a deep red color. Pour the mix through cheesecloth, or fine-mesh strainer into a large pitcher. Add honey and stir to dissolve. Add thyme, and ginger to the cranberry mixture and let infuse in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight. Remove the thyme and ginger and discard
- Cocktail:
- Fill cocktail glass with ice, cranberry infused water, orange juice, elderflower liqueur vodka; stir to combine. Garnish with orange slice, and star anise, if desired.
- Mocktail:
- Fill glass with ice, cranberry infused water, and orange juice; stir to combine. Garnish with orange slice, and star anise, if desired.
- Enjoy!
