FRUIT BOARD WITH YOGURT DIP

As many of you know this is my happy time of year. Not just because I love gardening, but because this is the time when I can be the most creative with my recipes. Why? Because this is the season when most fruits and vegetables are in season! As you will see from my list of favorite recipes, ALL of them are named, and include, a fruit or vegetable. Hope you enjoy making them as much as I did creating them!

To start of my list, I have two of my favorite brunch recipes. My Tomato Tart with Fresh Ricotta & Spinach and Cheese Egg Strata. Both are easy to make and are perfect for the vegetarian cuisine lovers.

Next we have my Crudite and Fruit Board with Yogurt Dip. These are my favorite and are perfect for a nice picnic out with your family or as an appetizer option when you have guests over. National Picnic Day is April 23rd so now it’s time to start preparing that perfect outing with your friends and family.

Of course since it’s Springtime, refreshing drinks are a must for any gathering if you live in South Florida! This is the time of year when everyone wants to be outside but the weather is too warm and you need a refreshing drink to keep you cool and hydrated. My Blackberry Gin Smash & Aperol Spritz are perfect for that!

Lastly and most importantly, because Springtime is Easter time, two of my favorite cakes to make are my Pavlova with Lemon Cream & Macerated Berries and Orange Polenta Cake! These dessert recipes are soooo delicious and perfect for an Easter gathering with your family. You can’t fail with either one of them!
