Guava-Maple Glazed Salmon

Servings 4 Servings

Ingredients

  • pounds of salmon
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup guava nectar
  • 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet pan with foil or parchment paper. If using foil, brush or spray oil all over.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, guava nectar, soy sauce, orange juice, garlic, and ginger. Pat dry salmon with paper towel. Season with salt and pepper. Add salmon to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the salmon from the marinade and transfer to prepared baking sheet pan. Spread butter all over the flesh of the salmon. Roast for 15 minutes (broiling the last 3 minutes), or until the salmon has reached your desired doneness.
  • Pour the remaining guava-maple sauce into a small sauce pan and bring to a boil over high heat. Cook or 5-6 minutes or until the sauce has reduced into a glaze.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the salmon and garnish with fresh dill. Enjoy!
