Herby Baked Feta

  • 8 ounce brick of feta in brine
  • cracked black pepper
  • ½ lemon, zested and juiced
  • pinch of crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano flakes
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary
  • squeezed lemon piece


  • Preheat oven to 375º Fahrenheit.
  • Dry feta with paper towel and place in an oven proof dish. Sprinkle black pepper, lemon zest, red pepper and oregano on top. Pour lemon juice and olive oil all over feta. Add fresh rosemary and squeezed lemon to the dish.
  • Transfer to oven and bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is soft and bubbly. Eat right away with pita chips or crusty bread. Enjoy!
