Cranberry Pecan Baked Brie with a Honey-Maple Glaze

dried cranberries
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place brie on a rimmed baking sheet (lined with parchment paper) or an oven proof pan; sprinkle with 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Place into oven and bake until softened,12-15 minutes
In a small saucepan, combine ¼ cup brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and orange zest. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until foamy and saucy, about 1-2 minutes (if sauce is too thick add a little more maple syrup). Stir in pecans and cranberries. Serve immediately topped with cranberry-pecan mixture. Garnish with figs (optional).
Tip: dried cranberries can be replaced with cranberry sauce ☺
