Oven Roasted Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 pound asparagus, ends trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Spanglish Asadero Barbacoa seasoning mix
- 1 fresh lemon or ½ orange, zested
- ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- fresh thyme, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425℉.
- Lay the trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle the barbacoa seasoning mix and place into the oven. Roast for 9 minutes, or until fork tender.
- Once the asparagus is out of the oven, transfer the asparagus to a serving platter and sprinkle with the lemon or orange zest, and parmesan. Garnish with fresh thyme, if desired. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
