Basil Infused Berries with Lemon Cream


Basil Infused Berries

Servings 4 Servings


  • Berries:
  • 4 cups mixed fresh berries such as strawberries blackberries or blueberries
  • 2 teaspoons granulated or raw cane sugar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, finely chopped
  • Lemon Whipped Cream:
  • 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
  • 2 tablespoons granulated or raw cane sugar
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


  • Berries:
  • In a large bowl, add the berries, sugar, and basil and gently stir to combine. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  • Lemon Whipped Cream:
  • Place bowl, whisk and cream in freezer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, whip the heavy cream, sugar, lemon juice, and zest on medium-high speed until medium peaks form, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Serve immediately with marinated berries. Enjoy!
