Grease a 9x13 inch pan with butter. Set aside until ready to use.
In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Immediately add cereal and stir until well coated. Quickly transfer mixture to prepared pan.
With the bottom of a buttered spatula or a piece of parchment/wax paper, press the cereal mixture tightly down. Cool at room temperature. Once firm, cut into heart shapes using a lightly greased cookie cutter.
Melt chocolate using double-boiler or microwave method.
Add chocolate and coconut oil in a heat-proof bowl and set over a pan of simmering water. As the water begins to simmer and release steam, the steam will heat the chocolate and the chocolate will begin to melt. Keep stirring with a heat-safe rubber spatula or wooden spoon until all of the chocolate has melted.
Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second increments, stirring after each one, (keeping an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t burn). The chocolate is done when it’s about 90% melted—keep stirring off the heat and the pieces should completely dissolve
Dip heart shape treats in chocolate and sprinkle away! Enjoy!!!
