Summer is here and so is the Fourth of July! I can’t believe we are here again and how fast time flies! So much has changed this year for the better and I am so happy to be able to celebrate this Fourth with my friends and family again. Like always, if you need some menu inspiration, here are My top Ten Must Have 4th of July Recipes! But first let’s start celebrating with a glass of Summer Sangria, Tinto de Verano (Summer Wine) or Champagne. Any of these drinks are refreshing and oh so good!

Champagne – a must have for any Fourth of July celebration.

If you know me by now, you know I always start off my menu with some yummy appetizers. This time we have 3 choices and they are both worth the calories! To start off, let’s go with the most least calorie packed appetizer: my decadent fruit board with yogurt dip. I like to include at least one of my boards in the menu because I find them to be easy to put together and can feed up to 10 people. Perfect for a party! Other appetizer options include my Cheesy Bacon Dip or my Sweet Potato Nacho Fries!

For the main course, I will either serve my Chicken Satay w/Peanut Dipping Sauce or my Chicken and Waffles. Heck maybe I will serve both! These recipes are both easy and quick to make and who doesn’t love chicken?!

Lastly, and most importantly, no Fourth of July is complete without a yummy, fruity and patriotic dessert. This Strawberry Roll is the perfect end to any celebration. For those in want of a lighter dessert, my rich and frothy Fourth of July vanilla shake is another option.
