Strawberry Rose Sangria

Ingredients
- Herb Infused Simple Syrup-
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 bunch fresh herbs (rosemary, basil or mint)
- Sangria-
- 1 bottle (750 ml) rose wine, chilled
- ⅓ cup brandy
- 2 cups strawberries, quartered or sliced
- 1 lemon, diced
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 cup club soda or ginger ale or ½ cup of each, chilled
Instructions
- To make the simple syrup combine water and sugar in small saucepan. Boil until sugar is dissolved. Turn off heat and add fresh herbs. Let cool, pour mixture in a glass container and refrigerate 6-8 hours. Discard herbs and store up to 1 month (perfect for cocktails, tea, lemonade, desserts...).
- Mix the wine, liqueur and simple syrup in a pitcher. Add the fruit and refrigerate at least 1 hour and up to 1 day.
- Add the seltzer/ginger ale just before serving and garnish with extra herbs. Enjoy
